Course Aims
To introduce students to the fashion retail industry and buying and merchandising specifically for the fashion industry.
Course Content
The first section of the course will provide an overview of the UK and European retail environment using topical examples of different types of retailers. You will discuss the various options available to modern retail outlet and examine factors affecting consumer behaviour.
The second part of this course introduces the inter-dependent disciplines of both buying and merchandising specifically for the fashion industry.

- 15 hours of General English tuition per week, Monday to Friday 09.00 - 12.20
- Normally 7 hours of college options over 2 afternoons per week
