南加大一年制MBA-IBEAR

何謂南加大 USC IBEAR MBA?IBEAR MBA為南加大少數可以條件式入學的課程之一。申請的學生必需有六年以上的工作經驗,而且修業時間短,課程密集,南加大IBEAR MBA可以在一年的時間完成,取得南加大MBA的學位。南加大IBEAR MBA全名為 International Business Education and Research Program 。IBEAR MBA 為USC南加大五MBA課程之一。密集修業時間 12 個月,以南加大正規 MBA 的核心課程為基礎,但著重國際面,所以也稱 IMBA 。南加大IBEAR MBA成立於 1978 年,校友人數達1200多位,遍佈全球 .

  • 授課時段 : 一年的上課時間分成五個 8 週的 terms
  • 修業時間 : 每年 8 月初至隔年 7 月中
  • 學生資料 : 每年招收約 60-65 人。學生平均來自 10 多個國家,近七成來自非英語系國家, (2008 秋季入學 ) 學生年齡平均 34, 介於 28-44 歲之間。
  • 測驗成績 : (2008 秋季入學 ) GMAT 平均 615,90% 的人落於 (560-720) , TOEFL 部分,非 required, 90% 的人在 IBT 81-106 ( 或 560-660) 之間。

申請相關資訊

(1) 工作經驗:必須擁有至少近 6 年的全職工作經驗 ( 可包括一般職業 , 政府 , 非營利 , 服役 , 或是研究所的就讀 )

(2) 學歷:國內教育部承認的四年制大學學歷
(3) GMAT & TOEFL:GMAT 成績至少 560. 托福部分 , 自 2008 的申請起 , 鼓勵繳交託福成績但非必要項目 . 如果沒有繳交託福 , 同時也不是畢業自英語系國家的四年制大學 , 入學前必須接受國際學生英語測試 .

(4) 申請期限:IBEAR 的審核是採取 rolling basis. 加上美國政府對於國際學生的一些新措施 , 建議國際學生 「 儘早 」 提出申請 . 以免影響入學時間 .

(5) 面試:課程會在收申請資料之後決定 , 如果您有收到通知 , 強烈建議您把握機會。另外, IBEAR 也非常歡迎有興趣申請的人士到 IBEAR 課堂上參觀上課情況。

(6) 獎學金:條件優異者 , IBEAR 會提供獎學金 . 絕大多數的得主之 GMAT 成績至少 650

563 Theory of International Trade (3, Sp) Comparative advantage and gains from trade; factor proportions and efficiency; factor price equalization; terms of trade; tariffs, customs, unions and trade agreements. Prerequisite: GSBA 511; GSBA 544 or GSBA 549.

564 International Financial Management (3, FaSp) Financial management of the multinational firm; legal entities and taxation abroad; risk in foreign operations; strategies in foreign exchange, money and capital markets and institutions. Prerequisite: GSBA 521 or GSBA 548.

Graduate School of Business Administration (GSBA)

510 Accounting Concepts and Financial Reporting (2.5, 3, Fa) Information systems for public reporting and for management decision-making; theory of asset and income measurement; interpretation and uses of accounting data and financial statements; analysis of cases.

511 Managerial Economics (2.5, 3, Fa) Microeconomic theory with business applications; consumer demand, production theory, cost theory, and market theory; decision-making within the firm under different market and regulatory environments.

518 Accounting Control Systems (3, Sm) Accumulation and interpretation of accounting data by management; profit planning; analysis of operations; systems for control of production and distribution costs; cost and profit centers for decentralized control.
